That guy who you can hire for ithink about 200 gold, to help you for 30 days. How good is he? I mean, is he even worth taking with you on dangerous adventures or will he just get killed by the first goblin you encounter?
If you dress him up in the finest armour you can get and give him an uber-weapon, are you then able to recover it all if he should die? :bye:

The first and only time i hired him, he got lost somewhere and i never found him again.. Fortunately i did'nt give him anything...

Any recommendations on this matter? :help:

As he says if u improve his weapons and equipment he will be a better help to you and yes you can recover the items if he should die on you.

However he isnt the hardiest of peeps i.e. unless you give him a load of potions he'll wind up dying in the sewers, and even with potions his survival isnt garenteed(sp?) :(

In my experience he is good for carrying excess weight, but other than that i don't bother anymore cos you have to keep looking out for him :ranting:

Gets a bit difficult when ur trying to sneak up on a couple of goblins and he goes charging in and blows ur cover :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: stupid grrrrrrr.....

Is'nt he like summonings? They only attack if you are attacked...

I just think it would be cool to give him some powerfull armor and weapons and have him with you as a "Brother-in-arms" kind of thing..

There is a good mod about that enables you to add up to twelve flunkies with you on your quests.

I like having a 'servant' for my character, but these AI slobs get stuck on staircases too much for my tastes.
