why only at 200? and no more?

Make it infinite xD

Because the game engine can only go forward to 255 hardcoded, you need to actually modify the skills (modav, or more commonly, Fortify Attribute/Skill Spells) to actually pass that hardcode as it is essentially modifying the data temporarily.

There's one very serious bug: when magic skill (such us Destruction) gets to 200, cost of every effect is 1 (at least, when combined with 100 Luck). When Fire Damage 300 in 300 ft. for 360 sec costs 1 Magicka point, game really doesn't make sense.

Is there a way to modify this mod so that you can't level up skills/attributes past 100 but you get benefits past 100 from enchantments/spells? I just want to have the normal level cap and not be too OP; I just want enchantment gear and magic buffs to matter even at max stat/skill.

Like various commentors, I'd like to know if you can level for instance your blade skill past 100 by fighting a lot, or that you can reach only lv 100, but fortifying it to 110 gives more damage. The description and comments aren't very clear on that matter.

Thanks cool, I've been playing Oblivion for about 3 years on and off, but Im still below level 30, I think Im something like 27 or something, I dont even know where the vanilla level cap IS, but to have the ability to get to level 200 (Its took me 3 years of casual playing to get to 27, so to get to 200...lol cars wont be using wheels anymore, thats for sure)

@Tizerak

You can modify it if you download it from here: http://www.tesnexus....le.php?id=31464

The download includes an ini file which you can edit. To get the buffs without being able to actually level past 100, change the file to look like this

; Set Attribute and Skill cap to 200
; 1:Disable, 0:Enable,
ModLevelSkillCap=0

Leave the rest of the file the way it is and you will still get bonuses up to 200 from fortify effects.

I've very much enjoyed this mod for oblivion. For over 100 hours (if memory serves, over 200) I was level 48. So playing your mod for the first time felt like a dam breaking. It was wonderful to hear that level up chime again! I'm currently level 62 and I still thoroughly enjoy hearing that level up chime, and knowing that using my skills means something. Thank you!

My post has a duel purpose. I wanted to thank you for your great mod, but I also wanted to make a request. Would it be possible (if the scripting side works out) that you could make an uncapper for Skyrim? I've heard that the theoretical level will be 70, but to unlock all of the perks one would need a level of 280 or so. I know it would be impossible to make promises before the game comes out, but when I got the news that max level would be 70, I immediately thought of this mod.
Thank you!
