In response to post #14902476. #14902801 is also a reply to the same post.

I was kinda hopeful that NMM would soon work properly, but that doesn't seem to be likely now. It went from broken omod script support to no omod script support (that fixed it)!

However, I think I want to leave it there because TesModManager can also work with the Download With Manager button, and looks like a better NMM than NMM (at least for Oblivion and Skyrim). I'm interested in testing and hearing what others think about it.

Works very well in connection with another excellent uncapper mod by JRoush:
hxxp://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/34841/?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
to obtain the 5/5/1 "efficient leveling" feeling, few settings should be made after installation (RealisticLeveling.ini in Data folder):

set aaRealisticLeveling.levelMax to 55
set aaRealisticLeveling.attrMax to 120
I've done intense testings with a character from scratch, up to level 15
----------------------------------------------------------------------
works very well too with slower advancement skill mods either home-made or nexus-downloaded (e.g Level Rates Modified by bofra)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Endorsed.

In response to post #15735015.

I will try your settings, but so far don't like oblivion leveling nor this mod.
I like predictability.
I would like to level up after 6 major skill increase which would correspond to +3 attributes
To get +5 I would have to get 2 minor skills for each corresponding attribute for a total skill (major/minor) of 10 for +5 attributes.
This would make leveling much less annoying.
So level up no matter what after 6 major skill increases, if no corresponding minor skill increase then only +3
The minor skills are worth just as much except they don't contribute to leveling.
All other leveling elements of oblivion stay the same.

That is exactly what I want.

In response to post #15735015. #15861650 is also a reply to the same post.

ericore: If that is what you want, then this mod is not for you. Note that in default Oblivion the amount of "experience" required to advance skills varies significantly depending on how high they are. This means it is much easier to advance low skills than high skills. This means under your preferred suggestion your level will advance much faster if you "spread out your skills" focusing on using your weaker skills all the time, and will advance much slower if your focus on your strengths.

Realistic Leveling was designed around the idea that what should matter for level and attribute advancement is the total experience you have in the related skills, not how high/low they are. If you don't like that idea then use a different leveling mod.

Everytime any of my major skills level up,it would recalculate my attribute, increasing one of the attribute and reducing my level progress to 0%,is this suppose to happen? or am i doing something wrong?
P.S apparently,it happen to a particular skill only when that skill level up for the first time, but i'm not sure. I'am also using OOO

From the wording of the description, I am confused about one thing. It says fame, infamy, and level all affect luck, but it doesn't say how. There are three methods i can see, each with a justification. Any help as to which one is right, or if none of them are, would be appreciated.
1. Good is its own reward: Fame increases luck, infamy decreases it. Which only makes half sense. Divine favor does give what is effectively luck, but so does nocturnal and the thieves guild gives infamy. So gaining Nocturnal's favor in the thieves guild quests makes you less lucky, which is confusing. Fame = more luck, infamy - less, and level = more.
2. Devil's own Luck: Since Nocturnal is the Daedra which grants luck to the world through the Ebonmere portal in Skyrim, the infamous earn her gifts. Daring thieves, pulling off great heists with a calling card, are the way to her heart. Killing innocents, however also gives infamy and (probably) doesn't appease nocturnal (though it would other Daedra who might offer their favor, including the bid bad ironically). And good characters find themselves down on their luck, which is not fun for paladin types. In short Infamy = more luck, fame = less, and level = more. Also makes the grey foxes mask a extremely useful combat artifact, as infamy would be maxed and fame removed giving maximum potential luck.
3. Apathy is Death: The best of both worlds, righteous Aedra-blessed characters as lucky as are infamous thieves and Daedra-blessed killers. Neutral characters have luck based mostly on level. leaves room for the lucky incompetent hero whose heart is in the right place, warlocks who dead with Daedra, Divine champions blessed by the Aedra, and the experienced neutral smuggler who, while is equally famous and infamous, has survived long enough to make his own luck (AKA early Han Solo) The math is slightly more tricky on this one, and either relies on being able to square and get the square root of a number with scripts, or relies on if statements to perform multiplication based on value. I don't know if you can square root with scripts, but if you could it would be useful. generally speaking fame-infamy means more luck the farther from zero, plus a modifier from level. It also has no method of becoming less lucky than the beginning, but since you start out jailed without knowing why in the imperial prison you can't get much unluckier.
So, which is it if any? I have no idea, all have their merits and are lore-friendly so any help would be appreciated.

Can someone explain why when using this mod the attributes will never increase in their own, but there won't be an option to increase them in any way possible?
Is this intended, is there a way to fix it if it is not?

I am using the latest version of OBSE.
