Missed this mod when it was launched but squeed like a fan girl when I found it (just started replaying DA) Ser Gilmore in origins works perfectly. In Awakenings he is there, I can recruit him, but there is no sound! He and dog have no voice. Tried uninstalling everything. Taken off all mods, even reinstalled the whole game. Nothing I do seems to work. At a bit of a loss as to what I am going wrong. Any ideas anyone?

I'm extremely happy that Ser Gilmore was brought back to the game, but does anyone what the console command is for the gifts?

So for some odd reason Ser Gilmore doesn't have a voice when speaking, can anyone tell me if its because of some compatibility issue?

hey Immortality, I want to thank you for this mod.
I played with yours Gilmore mod in DAO and I finished DAA with this mod yesterday.
But the end of DAA made me sad.
First thing - before battle of Amarant I hoped I could chose Gilmore and dog as companions but I couldn't. I though Pearl's love (my commander was Cousland girl with Rory as her husband and little Roro staying in grandfather's home) would follow her even to the end of the world. But no. He had to stay in Vigil's Keep wit a dog.
Second thing - again I hoped for happy ending. And again I was wrong. Rory died at Vigil's Keep.....
Third thing - before I had slides with Rory and mabari the scene where the Mother dies had appeared 2 times.
Forth thing- there is no word about what happen with little Roro? and you could give one line with what happen with our warden because Bioware's ending is too simplified in this case.
Fifth thing - there is a problem with a graphic during sex scenes. Sometimes I had no background but in most of cases I could see only body shapes which were black, some lightening and thats all

About voice - I had no problem.

Again thank you and good job. Think about alternative happy ending :D

In response to post #9694022.

I read on this forum about picking Rory and dog to party during battle of Amaranth and fighting with the Mother. As someones wrote very helpful is writing command "runscript gxa_selectparty" but still I had epilogues with dying Rory

In response to post #9694022. #9710717 is also a reply to the same post.

You can actually pick Rory/dog to accompany you to go save Amaranthine. He stops you at the door and goes "You aren't leaving me here, are you?! I'm your hubby!". You then replace the members of the party you picked with Rory and/or dog. His slides for that ending is a happy one.

Mother loop isn't the mod, it's a bug in the Awakening expansion. It's a bit of a heart attack when it keeps looping... but Awakening has many bugs.

Just finished the mod with a Gilmore nee Cousland female rogue. I loved it. I wasn't the fan of the Origins mod - the voice actor seemed to have a very forced accent and his voice sounded nasal - but Jonathan von Mering's voice gave some maturity to Rory. I also loved the banters with the dog ("I'm not throwing this! Oh fine...")

I'm glad my Cousland and Ser Gilmore had a happy ending, as my main Warden who romanced Alistair ended up with "I can't have kids! The girl my husband hates had his kid! Argh!" dilemma. I also liked that Rory seemed to be taking more charge, voicing his opinions. I don't want a big puppy as my husband, I want a human being with his own thoughts. I appreciated Rory's awareness of what entails being a Grey Warden - and that he wishes to accompany the Warden to her Calling. I wish I could hug him more, since the option was included in Origins Rory but not this one.

Few points:

One thing that caught my attention was Rory's equipment when he arrives. I for some reason believed that a married Cousland and Rory would be wearing wedding bands, and that he'd have his Oath.

I also thought he might have a reaction to Keenan's quest. Nida, his wife, is cheating on Keenan, a Grey Warden, and the Commander delivers the wedding ring to her only to find her infidelity. Nida defends herself, saying "but he left me alone for months!". I thought Rory would react to this, since he is married to a Grey Warden, he is one, and he seems like a kind of a person who'd wait for his partner to come back... maybe indefinitely. I was also surprised he didn't react to Blight Orphan's quests, especially with brandy and moonshine. I sort of imagined him saying "love, do you really think this is a good idea?" since he has a child of his own.

Something that left me in the dark was when and how Rory became a Warden. I don't think it was in the codex (or was it?). He suddenly appears in the courtyard and he is a Warden and he talks about "returning"... return from where? Highever or was he already at the Vigil? That seemed a little unclear.

Just finished playing a fully romanced female Cousland and absolutely loved it.
The vo was amazing, he really brought Rory to life for me, just enough softness to his voice to bring out the romance and wow, when I recruited Nate, and he yelled at me :(
There was a couple of times my char was referred to as commander instead of wife that sort of threw me, but that can be taken as you being in charge and him being professional so that wasn't too bad. And the little treat at the beginning, dawww.
It's amazing how you think you can go without that familiarity from a previous companion only to have this show how much it really changes and improves the game. Great job!
So when are you doing Alistair? ;)

BUG REPORT:
Not sure if this was posted before but my game crashes if I try to take Ser Gilmore to Turnoble Estate. I tested it by traveling there with and without him and was only successful during the latter attempt. Otherwise, I am loving the mod, especially since his dialogue can sense whether or not I recruited him in Origins.
*EDIT: It seems I can't take him to Amaranthine either. Perhaps I can't take him anywhere. Will try more locations.
