I must say, I do love his new voice in Awakening. I did encounter a bug though (or at least I think it was one). He hates my Warden, even though their relationship was set to 100 friendly in Origins, and he comments on how she did despicable things in the past that he disagreed with but they need to work together now. The only thing I can recall doing that he disagreed with was crowning Anora instead of Alistair, but even then he only had a -1 disapproval, which certainly wasn't enough to warrant them being enemies by Awakening... it's not a big deal but I don't know what I did to mess with the flag for their friendship.

Nevermind, I figured out what happened. I didn't take him to new areas in Origins to trigger new dialogue with him. Oh well. Now I know for next time.

My god, you need to use this VO for the origins version.
Like, right now.

Don't know why, but there is no voice for mine but I have both installed. Did I do something wrong?
And he also won't join my party, I select him on the selection screen but he doesn't shoe up in my party.

Are you playing with "Awakening in the oc" or any other mod that should not be installed when playing Awakening?
There are many mods for Origins that will out right break the expansion, so before playing Awakening (with or without Ser Gilmore) is always a good idea to remove all the old stuff, and even reinstalling the game, if you want to be really sure that Awakening itself will work properly.

Thing is, Ser Gilmore Origins has thousands of VO lines. It's an awful lot of work for somebody who does it out of the kindness of their heart.
So my thanks and respect to Jay, the vo talent from origins, who's just "some guy" who wanted to help me (a total stranger) by devoting months of his life to voicing.
So, in short, yeah, changing vo talent is easier said than done.

You are supposed to take him to Amaranthine... I mean, well, not "supposed to", but you should absolutely be able to (and it works for most people), cos some important stuff happens there so... yeah. Amaranthine is not a problem.
Maybe you have something else conflicting?

I have to say, I am very happy that you decided to play this mod even though you did not like its first part. Kudos to you!
As far as the mod itself... it was horrible to actually make it, because I couldn't do many, many things I had in mind.
Remember that the toolset was never updated with Awakening resources, and that means that I was not able to edit ANYTHING to add banters or interjections.
I had to change my vision many times of how things should play, and find other (crappier) solutions to problems.
Basically, and this is very true: All this mod is a big hack. Awakening is some hardcoded ugly monster, for sure...
Now, to your notes...
1- Very true. How stupid that never came to mind! LOL!
2- You're right... what a missed opportunity! I never played that quest, actually, so I had no idea
3- Here we go... one of those cases where my vision had to adapt to the actual game...
You will have to assume that he drank the blood and etc, just like the rest of the people, and that happened months before. When he says "returning" he meant returning from his dad's estate, where he left the baby.
