While I too will probably wait for the VA version so I haven't yet installed it, one thing I wanted to mention. This is great not only for Sir Gilmore, but also for Dog. I love my dog and it never made sense to me that he would disappear after Origins (I know Witchhunt stated he was in the Denerim siring pups but I found that a weak excuse). That said, do you have (or are planning to have) anything along the lines of the Extra Dog Slot mod? Cause as much as I love my dog, he's just not worth a full party member slot. I also noticed that the compatibility post says I can only install this when playing Awakening and have to uninstall it if I switch back to Origins. I have a horrible memory for that sort of thing. Any plans to alter it so we can just leave it installed? Thanks.

Furtled, have you tried without the cc? Anyways, I can´t use that savegame you send me. You have to send me the whole folder of your character.

KuroNekosama, no, I will not make an extra dog slot for the dog, he'll be a normal companion.
Also, no, no way you can leave it installed. This is not my choice, it's because the toolset is retarded, and I can't do anything about it. It's Bioware's fault.

Furtled, okay, I see in your 2 savegames for that character that Rory is already broken in both of them. I really need a savegame before you recruit him, though.

Another thing, I did have to force load with a bunch of mods you had installed (check the 2 screenshots below)

However, I may be able to find a solution yet from this broken savegame. Just to make sure, though, can you send me a character rar with the following:
1- a savegame before recruiting Rory
2- a savegame after recruiting Rory.

And lets cross our fingers :-)

Ahh - those are the official DLCs in the screenshots (I'm running the UE), I'll do another clear out and start one with them disabled, see if that makes a difference. Happy to keep fiddling if it helps solve this. Update in a couple of hours

EDIT: Right, character folder with all DLCs disabled (no way not to install them with the UE unfortunately), one save before Rory spawns and another after attempting to recruit him: http://www.mediafire...4u59125922twugc

Also I think disabling them doesnt really help, because I still have to force load.

Anyways, lo and behold... I can recruit him with no problems :-(

Here's your character back. I added 3 new saves. One before going out the keep, one outside the keep before recruiting, and the las one when Rory was recruited.

He's working perfectly in my comp. Appears in the party picker and of course follows you around.

I'll do more tests with your broken savegames, but in the meantime can you see if the saves I made work for you?

No problem - thanks for digging into it!

I opened up the Rory recruited save and there he was, however got some odd error messages as we moved around, took him into Nathan's cell and the Keep fine, however when I went to leave the Keep he vanished, didn't matter which party combination I picked, he still vanished from the party once they left the throne room. The dog didn't vanish though if that's any help (great name choice btw - made me laugh).

Loaded up one of your saves just before recruiting him and also started another warden (different class/race combo) - both had the same issue with not being able to recruit him.

Had to force load the saves as I'm missing some of the official stuff that came with the collectors edition and the respec mod you have installed, found the respec mod and installed that just in case it made a difference, but sadly no luck. Not sure if it could be something to do with the Ultimate Edition?

Happy to keep fiddling as long as you want to, I'll see if I can find a way to properly remove the other DLCs, maybe that'll make a difference

Firstly, thank you soooo much, Immortality, for the amazing Rory mods! Also, thank you for all the hard work you put into making them work and helping others to figure out how to get them to work properly!

I've been watching this thread as I also have the issue with not being able to have Rory in the party picker. If you or Furtled could keep us all posted on the outcomes, I will be in your debt! I am also running the Ultimate edition, so I hope it doesn't end up having to be something that just wont work right with that! Keeping my fingers crossed and eyes on this thread! :-)

Well, I also tried again. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Used no mods except this one, not even hair or makeup (sob). Still couldn't recruit Rory or Dog. Could talk to him a bit, but after a while they just disappeared completely, not in the throne room, not hanging around the Keep courtyard, nothing. I also have Ultimate Edition, and I downloaded it straight from EA. I'll see if I can zip my saves for that character and send 'em to you. Maybe they'll help.
