problem with Morrowind Code Patch,

so i finally bought Morrowind GOTY on steam earlier today. it works fine. but whine i installed the fixes and stuff from the patch and went into the game, it ctd. why? i have no other mods activated, so why did my game crash? (please move this if in the wrong section)

Oh, this is the official patch? I thought you meant the Morrowind Code Patch.

Which one?

Did you install any official patches? Steam GOTY is completely up to date already so installing any official patches on top of that could cause issues.

The Morrowind Code Patch should work fine though, that shouldn't crash the game. Did it also crash before you installed the MCP?

perhaps the problem lies with the mod that comes with the patch that demonstrates the bugs and how it fixes them. it's called the bug and fix hall, there is a trap door to it outside the office where you create your character. so could it be the mod and not the patch code itself?

The esp is just a showcase, you don't need it. I don't know if it would cause crashes (it's supposed to demonstrate fixes) but you should disable it either way.
