I have a problem that i can't seem to find any help with or that i couldn't solve myself.

I can't get installed mods to work, thew simply won't load. I have NVSE, FOMM and all that. I check the files i want to load in FOMM, and the game starts, nothing crashes, and everything looks fine. the game runs perfectly, but the game is started as though i dont have any mods. it simply doesn't load them. I have been having this issue with Fo3 and Oblivion too. It worked fine on Fo3 until a while ago, when the same problem occured.

The only thing that actually work in these games for me are textures. that is, new posters on walls, that's all the mods throw at me.

EVEN OFFICIAL DLC'S WONT LOAD!

all help would be appreciated.

you need FOMM for mods, idk if that works for DLC though, but it should work with the data option on the launcher

I see two things you should make sure of:

1. Verify that you have the latest Fallout NV patch installed (currently 1.4.0.525).
2. Verify your load order. The first file needs to be FalloutNV.esm, followed by DLCs and other esm files. Then, all esp files. Depending on what mods you have installed, there may be a specific load order required for some of these, so check their respective readmes.

basically to summarize, the load order should be the following:

[X] FalloutNV.esm
[X] DLCs and all other esm files
[X] All esp files (plugins)

Thanks Heffy, but I have the uppdate and it doesn't work even if i use only FalloutNV.esm and like SVD.esp it won't load.

god, this issue is driving me nuts...

what steps have you taken to insure that this is not merely another UAC issue

Well, that seems to be my problem. I searched for UAC here on the forum and found a thread about it. the solution would be to install New Vegas outside of a folder that is affected by UAC.
As i understood it, the UAC only exists on Windows vista and 7. i am using Windows XP...

mods are there
mods are not there
using fomm and nvse

something just doesn't add up.

It ran mods perfectly just a coupple of weeks ago, but now i can't load them.
