I'm not here to dismiss those reporting the Dragonsreach crash, just to share something that happened to me. I was getting 100% crash exiting Dragonsreach... also I had a summon up at that time, I killed the summon and then no crash. New characters can enter and leave Dragonsreach no problem. So there might be some incompatibility with other mods and/or scripts. Can't test any further I'm no modder. Just reporting a workaround hope it can help you.

I have few crashes, but its rare. My Skyrim have crashed before this patch, so im not sure it is the patch that causing it. All games from Bethesda have a behavior to crash ^^

For me it's not only Dragonsreach that's crashing. Crashes when exiting all the major holds except The Blue Palace in Solitude. I suspect its the civil war map being updated in those cells. My workaround is to enter the hold then coc to a interior cell (outside the city) and then re-enter the hold normally. No more crashes when exiting after that. Had to do this for every single major hold btw :(

For me, my game did not get past the opening sequence - I couldn't even open a save :( Anyone have an idea what might be going wrong here?

I've narrowed down the crashing and it seems to only happen when I have a follower or a conjured creature with me. To the rest of you guys, did you have a follower with you when your game crashed as you exited Dragonsreach?

I see you have changed the quest with the Necromancer's Amulet which should only be available if you sold the Strange Amulet to Claxito.

So my question is how do i get the strange amulet which i can enchant to my liking instead of the usless Necromancer's Amulet and why have you done this as its not a bug ?.

Maybe you could do two mods one with just bug fixes and another with all your game changes you have made to suit yourself.

I didn't have a follower or a summoned creature up, and it wasn't when leaving/entering any cells, it was on a random road in the wilderness. I have a LOT of mods, but I always take great care to find any conflicts when I install new ones so my game is suprisingly stable, considering around 100 mods I have.

And it's not crashing with any other version of USKP except with this new one, so it's definitely something related to it.

The Wolf Queen Awakened finally worked on my existing saves! I disabled the patch and did clean saves out of desperation, then re-enabled. Didn't think it would be that simple. With previous versions I never had to do this, but no matter.

I've tried both releasing my follower and making a clean save. No change, it still CTD.
