Well i just lost my savegame because of a virus :ranting: (format C:), and was near the end in bloodmoons main quest.. any way i get it back (im thinking email me or what ever).. spastikker_@hotmail.com <-- i played 20 hours, and dont want to redo all that :/

Sorry to hear you lost your game-saves.

This is why it's a good idea to keep a backup copy of your "Saves" folder. I have dual-hard drives and keep my backup copy on my D:, but if that's not an option for you, you may want to consider burning yours to a Zip Disk or CD-RW or something.

And no, there is no way to recover your lost game-saves if indeed your HDD was reformatted.

Sorry to hear it mate. Now you have the opportunity to get a life (or another game I suppose). Come back to it after a days and a few beers. If you have a console use cheats to get you close to where you lost it and then remove the cheats. Or start the east Empire company quest and do the other side quests first. Don't let those rickings and rickling riders and spriggans get you down.

This is basically a call to all, BACK UP FILES OFTEN!

In other communities I post in, I am always hearing horror stories of lost data,
don't let the worst happen, back stuff up!!!!
