Anyone who did this quest can help me?

I did everything until the point where I'm at the bandit's den, clearing it completely and at the last stage I'm at a room filled with soldiers, Kematu asks me to lure Saadia to the stable instead of killing him. it took me more than 1 hour to clear that den (playing on master, face to face combat is unthinkable for me), so I was tired and decided to give in.

then when saadia is lured to the stables, nothing is explained why would she commit treason, I receive the reward but it leaves me with a bad feeling inside, like if I missed something.

if instead I killed Kematu, would it have been different?

if you wanted to hear the "assassin's" point of view, you can ask while in the cave and I think he is still able tell you in the stable area if you speak with him.
the woman lied to you and she is a traitor to the place she came from.

Is there any proof that she is a traitor? Maybe she is telling the truth and mercenaries are lying to get players help. Or maybe the mercenaries are telling the truth. But is there any actual proof?
I know it'd be stupid to expect to find some journal of Saadia which proves she's a traitor or some contract of the mercenaries telling us it's really an attempt on her life. but maybe there still is something?

More and more I feel you're just going to have to get used to the grey area in RPGs. Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Witcher, Skyrim and others I can't think of right now. Not saying you won't find the answers, but there're going to be a lot less clear-cut ones. Stormcloaks vs Empire is a pretty big example.

For me, in Skyrim there've already been quite a few quests that leave you hanging as soon as they finish. Kinda sucks, but what can you do?

I know what you're talking about, it was always hard to make decisions in The Witcher as well, there was never right and wrong, there was only the matter of morality and of what your heart tells you, but most of time you knew who you are dealing with. In this quest you don't. I guess, once again I'll have to do what I feel is right without any proved reason.
