so i've spent the last 5 hours trying to figure out where the 1,000 steps are to the throat of the world, i've try traveling all around that mountain on the base, i've went through a cave and killed a blind man and still dont know how to get to the top where the grey beards are.. any suggestions? thanks

He he. I did exactly like you and thought I had missed something important. Then I got desperate and followed the road around the mountain and after a looong walk I finally got to the town where the stairs start.

The stairs start by Ivarstead, which is right next to the base of the mountain on the East.

thanks yeah i finally figured that out... and i even visted that darn village, but didnt go towards the bridge lol i feel so stupid

lol i did the same ended up cracking the shits, walking down to near path and using clairvoyence just to find the right direction
