I really, really, really can't find it. I've even searched behind stuff. I have the game guide and it doesn't say. Please help! I've spent literally hours looking for the dang thing.

all three books are on pedestals in that room. if you don't have it, it has to be in there somewhere.

possibly it glitched out and fell through a wall or something. you can try using tcl in the console to look for it (that lets you walk through walls)

Thanks for answering. In my game there are only two books on the pedestals. The third pedestal is empty!

EDIT: I tried the TCL thing in the console. It turned out the 3rd book had slipped underneath the floor (or maybe it was the wall ... I forget)! You were right. It was a glitch.

I finally figured out how to turn TCL off again, by re-booting my game. Thanks.

You turn clipping back on by using the TCL command again. (Toggle CLipping)
