Unfortunately I don't know what information is necessary and what is obsolete:

I'm on a Sony Vaio F Series
Windows 7
Processor: i7 Q 820 @ 1.73GHz
RAM: 8GB
Harddrive: 500 GB
64-bit Operating System

NVIDIA Graphics card
GeForce GT 330M
DirectX version 11.0

Please tell me what else is necessary to determine this.
I always freak out because I know my processor is below 2GHz which is usually the minimum specs but I kinda figured the i7 made up for it? Or am I just being dreadfully naive?

--NOTE-- when playing the game on medium I am experiencing a mouse lag and a slight lag in heavy action sequences. However when turned to Ultra it doesn't appear to worsen the problem, just stay the same.

Yea this game, like all that use the gamebryo engine, are very processor heavy. The Ghz of the processor is a huge factor on FPS on this game.

This article gives a good indication of what your capabilities are. Especially the last few pages.
