So I've just ran into a bug that has even existed in Oblivion; the one where the player is cursed with having an arrow stuck in him/her.

Loading previous saves, changing armor, getting rid of all arrows in the inventory does not seem to cure this little but annoying issue. The arrow just won't disappear! Even ~>*click on arrow*>disable won't work. Does anybody have a solution to this? Or even a small patch of some sort? If so, I give you my greatest thanks!

The two that stood out that were said to work

1: Get shot again by a arrow. It should remove the old one.

2: go into the console and perform a double sexchange.

(or end up back with your original gonads).

Which one is less traumatic for you? Onlyyou can say.

Thanks for the solutions! I'll try 'em out. if I don't reply it's because my issue is solved and I'm hooked back into Skyrim.
