bben46 Posted January 21, 2014 Share Posted January 21, 2014 @No7Ex - not a good idea. the ini files are based on your computer and are generated automatically the first time you start the game - copying someone else ini can cause really strange problems. Or more often just not work at all. Just run the steam Verify Game Cache Files and it will replace any missing files. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335 Then start the game from the steam library page the first time and it will regen the ini. Paste this to the last line of the prefs file:bEnableFileSelection=1 Note** not the Prefs file in the game folder per say (that one already has the line), but the one in the Documents>My Games>Skyrim folder I believe this will fix the problem Thanks, this worked for me.
