After it did the automatic update, I can not get it to open. I get the Play, Settings, Options screen, but when I hit play, It just keeps going back to the same box. Going to have to re-install.

Haven't had any crash with skyrim (i downloaded and installed 5 mods without problems), but with new vegas is a nightmare... Most of the downloads make the program crash, when i manage to download a mod, it crashes when i activate it. Finally, if i manage to activate a mod, it duplicates in the mod list (a new entry of the same mod appears, not activated, and if i try to uninstall it the program crashes). This last problem happened just once actually, with the project nevada mod, but the other two happen likely the 90% of the times...

I have win 7 SP1 64bit

I hope these bugs are going to be fixerd soon, because the tool is fantastic!!!

been getting a ton of errors as well all of a sudden, but found the program still seems to work for me if i ignore them (which tends to cause like 50+ error popups to come up lol)

my guess is it might be to do with the server(s) or something as when i disabled check for updates at startup, check for new mod versions, and add missing info to mods in the options the crashes stopped happening.. Tho downloading mods thru it is still a little rough around the edges at the moment and sometimes they take 10-15 minutes till they start downloading or it says file not found even tho I can download the mods manually

so if it has to do with the server(s) and not being able to make connections, would really be better if it just popped up once and said connection failed and let the program keep running instead of popping up a ton of error windows closing/crashing when you click ok

This has been a serious lifesaver for me. Thank you.

As a relative modding noob, I had no problem adding a ton of mods to Skyrim, FO3, FONV, and Oblivion. It still took a bit of reading around, but so much easier and quicker than doing it manually.

I too must report some stability issues with the latest update, but restarting the program always works. But nearly there - excellent work guys.

It's completely unusable for me. Other for the crashing issues reported on the forums, sometimes attempting to install mods causes freezes and crashes. Every time one of these issues occurs it becomes impossible to start the program without a crash on startup and even a reinstall (with config files removal) doesn't solve it. I am a programmer and i can assure my system and framework are clean and stable.

Fantastic tool, but still some rough edges. One of the most important things it needs is a fallback if it cannot access various internet locations it tries to. Sometimes I use the tool when I'm on a content-restricted network, and I just get crashes galore. It'd be nice for it to function properly without a fully-functioning network connection.

I love this tool! Unfortunately, the last few days I get "unexpected crash, a log has been placed" almost every time I download a file with the manager. This is some of what I think is the most important info (explains the crash) from one of the crash-log-files:

"There was no endpoint listening at http://skyrim.axel.t...us.com/Mods/88/ that could accept the message. This is often caused by an incorrect address or SOAP action. See InnerException, if present, for more details."

And in InnerException:System.Net.WebException:
"Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond xx.xx.x.xx:80
at System.Net.Sockets.Socket.DoConnect(EndPoint endPointSnapshot, SocketAddress socketAddress)
at System.Net.ServicePoint.ConnectSocketInternal(Boolean connectFailure, Socket s4, Socket s6, Socket& socket, IPAddress& address, ConnectSocketState state, IAsyncResult asyncResult, Int32 timeout, Exception& exception)"

Maybe it has to do with the site having such a huge load (number of visitors i mean) lately? It started to happen frequently after I added over 30+ mods (of which maybe 10 are activated). Running Windows 7 x64 with a i5 750, 4 gig ram, and a GTX 460.

Anyway I'll still keep on using this and support it since it's so awesome. Thinking of becoming a premium member for a year as soon as I get some cash :-)
