Just make sure you put it in the right "Skyrimprefs" there are 2 of em..... Not sure where the right was, in Appdata/ Roaming or something similar.

@caioexecutor, you need to put the file underneath the first "launcher" tab, there should be two strings of text beneath it. It should be found right in the middle of the Skyrimprefs.ini, not at the end. Refer to my previous post for a more detailed explanation.

To anyone having Access is Denied issues when editing the .ini file, be sure to right click the file, go to Properties>Security>Edit Permissions and make sure all users have full access to the file. That's what I did and I was able to save the edited .ini file.

Now to see if it actually worked :'D

You need to add that line in SkyrimPrefs.ini located in My document/MyGames/Skyrim or something. I don't use win 7 so figure it yourself, pleasa:D).

Look for the line:
[Launcher]
bShowAllResolutions=0
uLastAspectRatio=2

And add it like this:
[Launcher]
bShowAllResolutions=0
uLastAspectRatio=2
bEnableFileSelection=1

Good luck. :psyduck:

Solved my problem also. thanks :)
