OK, I'll admit straight away that I cheated a little (read: big time) and just for [fun] I added a Staff of Parlathan to my Rogue Hawke's inventory, I then jumped into Gff editor and removed the 'Mage' restriction (but left it as a 'staff' weapon style) and changed it to a 'Physical' damage staff ... To my utter joy and happiness my Rogue happily equipped the item and just as happily set about beating enemies to death with it! It was glorious

So to the mod part ...
Firstly is there any way to create a staff without the ranged attack capability?
Secondly is there a way to create a new dagger model without blades just short wooden sticks?
Is it possible to remove ALL VFX from a particular weapon?

If I may explain a bit further ... The Staff of Parlathan reminded soooo much of Naginata that the idea of a "Monk" type character just seemed inevitable, and when you see the melee animations for any of the Mages Staff's in game the "physicalized' (my own word  ) Staff is (almost) perfect ... I guess you could call the 'ranged' attack of the weapon a "Ki" strike of some sort ..

Plus if we have a "Monk" with Naginata then why not add some Tonfa as well? Hench the non bladed dagger models?

Well just throwing it out there and see if it sticks to something or someone... (hopefully not a fan though)

[Edit: Vulgarity removed. Do it again and it's a Strike (or more.) --TNL)]
