We're looking into releasing a version without that one bit, as it's not plot-important at the moment. Alternatively, we might move it. Keep an eye out on updates for that.

I am a bit confused at the version of this mod. It's being released before 2+ sidequests get completed, but you are labeling it as version 1.0. This gives no indication of the status of the mod as it is now or how much more work needs to be done to complete it.
Is the current version considered early beta (expect lots of bugs and the need for polishing), or can we expect it to play really well (even lacking the few sidequests)? How well tested by the developers and (maybe) any beta testers they have, is it?
And, how much more work is left to complete the side quests?
Thanks.

This has been thoroughly tested and is a full release. The side quests are optional, so we felt we could release. It is NOT A BETA.
We had an excellent crew of beta testers and are quite confident that it is bug free. It has actually been in beta test for the last three months. We could have released it before Skyrim came out but decided to take the time to make sure it was solid. That's actually why we know how many conflicts we have - our beta testers ran DBC with those mods loaded.
We have a total of 10 side quests but haven't decided how many we will actually code up. There are three side quests in this release. We definitely have plans for 3 or 4 more, but a couple of the others aren't really quite as strong story-wise, so we need to decide whether to include them or not.
The main quest is comprised of 11 quests, so there is a good amount of playable content.

i'm having an issue--- i have the silent voices thing installed, however every single character in the mod's dialogue lines move off the screen before i have even half change to read them. so i'm progressing in the story, but i haven't the slightest clue what is going on.
"hey, arquen, what's the watcher?"
"well, listener, fgjnfdkhkjgnhkldgnmadlkfbmndlkhnbdaflhkmnn--you know?"
"...wat"
ugh. ;~;
what do i do?

That's odd. It sounds like silent voices isn't loading. Now it is a little awkward to install if you don't have any other OBSE plugins because you have to create the directories yourself.
Could you check to see if you have Elys_USV.dll, Elys_USV.lip and Elys_USV.mp3 in
Data\obse\plugins
If you don't have those folders, you have to create them and move those files there (from wherever you unzipped the Elys files to).

yes'm.
i re-downloaded them last night, just in case there was an update i'm missing or something, to see if that was the issue and it didn't resolve anything.
the silent voices plugin is working for other mods like totf and rtt, so i can't the slightest clue what the problem is.

@ qeix: TOTF has its own silent mp3, so you won't notice any difference even if the Silent Voices plugin isn't working. Are you running the game with obse_loader.exe?
