I've been using your site since Oblivion and I must say you guys have done an outstanding job. Love the site, love the Nexus Mod Manager and the ability to directly install the mods.
Keep up the outstanding work.

[Contains Spoiler]
watch this:
and this:
http://img.photobuck...im-landmass.jpg
(green space, the estimated landmass available)
And I don't think Bethesda is planning an addon including a whole province, maybe something like Shivering Isles/Bloodmoon but not bigger.
I'd like some Mods containing quests in the imperial city, something like Tribunal.
[Spoiler]
I mean you can kill the emporer and finish a major conflict in imperial space.
Wouldn't be so far fetched

"As modders, can't we just (after the Construction Set is released) copy paste Cyrodiil (heightmaps, meshes, textures, absolutely everything) into Skyrim. We would have to do some conversions. But I was thinking about something along the lines of the Morrowblivion project."
This. Then we can use the Morrowblivion project and have Morrowind in Skyrim too. Although, that'd leave us with one gargantuan mod.

Its interesting how many articles this topic has spawned across the net. However I really don't want to dampen all this wild speculation but I think some sensible logic needs to be applied. First of all just because you can travel beyond the game area borders and people have found vast amounts of land, that does not automatically mean that a Morrowind or Cyrodiil sized expansion is in the works by Bethesda thats really unfair and expecting far too much from the company.
Have people forgotten that exactly the same thing was possible in Oblivion and to be quite honest there was vast amounts of land there too. Large amounts of Skyrim, Hammerfell, Elsywer and Black Marsh and a minor amount of Morrowind. I also investigated at the time and you could literally walk for 30 minutes into Hammerfell so far you were actually off the game map. What I've seen travelling beyond Skyrim's borders is proportionally less than what existed in Oblivion.
Its also worth noting the landmasses are completely out of scale, another indication its not meant as any form of expansion.
Why is it there? For LOD. If you want to add credibility to your world you don't want people seeing empty horizons when they get to such high vantage point, it breaks immersion.More likely its a side effect of the world generation process, you would typically always make an area slightly larger than you actually need so not to limit yourselves creatively.
Try riding a horse into Morrowind with the game borders disabled and see how far you get before the land ends. A short 3 minute ride and I hit the edge of the terrain mesh. Just because you can toggle clipping mode and fly around the world like Superman that doesn't mean theres a whole load of future content planned.
Be content with the vast amount of content you already have. If Bethesda release an expansion using these areas then I'll gladly eat humble pie. However I think the most you can expect is some new Hold size areas or possibly a Shivering Isles sized expansion.
If there was any evidence of actual game meshes in these border regions such as the complete Imperial City or the City of Mournhold then I would also be expecting some epic sized expansion but there isn't.
Any experienced modder will tell you that terrain maps with huge rips/tears in them are totally useless as viable modding locations. Not to mention the fact that no pathfinding or navmesh is present in those areas. For the record I love the TES games but I think some of you have some unrealistic expectations and this kind of wild rumour mongering is really the kind of thing I'd come to expect from Todd Howard.
