The game runs fine, no problems, no stutters, no lags, no FPS drops. It just crashes, randomly, without explanation or a clue.

1) 7zip will not open, "incorrect command line"
2) Installed with NMM, "Script XE-Weather Apply, Trying to run RunFunction index greater than function count."

Is there a way to change Shader model 2.0 ? My card supports SM 5.1 Tried to edit Options.ini in the Morrowind directory , but dx8 can only handle 2.0 no?
Anyway, thanks! My first play in Morrowind is with awesome mods+Overhaul. If MGE XG doesn't exist, this job isn't possible. sorry my english i'm espanish

And there any improvements over camera control with this over MGE? I really miss the TFC feature in Skyrim. I do know about TVM, but I wasn't sure if I could control the camera.
One last thing. If I use this with Morrowind graphics and sound overhaul is there a way to update to the newest version? I'm guessing their version is outdated.
Thanks.

I don't know about performance compared to MGE, but you can always reduce the draw distance of distant land or disable some of the features to improve performance. You will just have to try out for yourself.
But I can help you with your other questions: The HUD can always be disabled by entering "tm" in the console. It's easier with MGE XE, of course.
I don't know of a way to control the camera outside of the player character's body, but if you just want to have free movement control, enter "tcl" to disable collision. However, this will affect NPCs as well, and you may find them walking in the air and through objects.
Updating is very simple, just download the new version and extract the files directly to your Morrowind installation folder, overwrite existing files! Then you have the newest version. Your settings are saved. The newest beta version is here, by the way: http://www.nexusmods...nd/mods/26348/?
Unfortunately, the changelog is scattered over this thread, so you have to read through that to see what the changes are: http://forums.bethso...laze-16-mge-xe/
It's usually safe to use the MGE XE beta, but you are also well-advised using this stable version.
