thanks for the dpi fixes, its a bit better, but still some screen objects overlap each other and dragging out the window doesn't resolve it.

Could you visit the bethsoft forum thread (link in description) and post images of the problem there? The GUI designer I use to make it just doesn't work well at high DPI and I imagine the scaling works differently on XP and Vista.

Hrnchamd just wondering is it possible to add in tessellation for this?

Tessellation requires artists to redo every model and texture in the game with tessellation data, and it only works on the latest cards. I also have to rewrite the entire game engine to feed the extra data from the model, because Morrowind won't pass it to the renderer.

Same thing for parallax mapping etc. It's hard to do right, requires a lot of artist time, and you're better off waiting for an open source version of the Morrowind engine.

Ah I see there is an open source engine for Morrowind or there is not?

I'm really amazed of this programm.
I wanted to finally play morrowind to the end without modding my savegame to death or something else that prevents me from finishing the story
so i searched for something that enhances the graphics a little bit and i got this
nearly doubled performance through ps 3.0 (on radeon 3650 mobile) and much better looking morrowind roughly pulled back to the vanilla performance

but not only the effect is amazing me, especially the way to get it
kudos to you for this piece of work!

(if there is something strange with my english, excuse me please)

I completely agree. MGE XE works very well for me and the effects are impressive. I'm a long time fan of MGE and XE is icing on the cake. Huge thanks to everyone involved with the project over the years. The only bug i have found is that when it rains the water puddles are hyper active and never slow down. I wonder if this is a setting i'm not getting right? anyone got any ideas?

endorsed :)
really love it, distant lands, DoF and groundcover without crashing the game <3

i get 7+ errors while starting morrowind, but when i already play everything seems fine, except for a minor bug where i can see the horizon ( or ocean) trough the ground.
