I'm trying hard to fix the white line (horizon) showing through everything else. It never happens on my computer, so it's a lot of guesswork. It may be due to fraps or xfire running on top of the game, or a specific setup. Watch for updates.

For some reason certain shaders dont seem to work in game. I added the sharpen texture and activated it. I also turned on the water shaders that came with the package morrowind overhaul and they dont turn on in game?

i found that water surface is allways clearly seen through any fog (there is no such problems with MGE 3.8.2 rev 0178)

Turns out if you disable v'sync it fixes the hyperactive water problem. Hope this helps anyone. Also, I forgot to endorse this, I fixed that to

Getting an error about mge xe has stopped working, I assume it's some fault on my part or trouble with the ini. Just gonna reinstall Morrowind and try again. I was wondering though, does this fix MGE's problem with the Steam Overlay?
EDIT: Nevermind, used the solution on the first page, thanks blast0r.
Well, it black screens me when I'm in game. But that's a step up from MGE's problems. Guess I'll fiddle with some settings.

MGE XE 0.9.5
- Windowed mode centres the window on-screen if the window is smaller than the current resolution.
- That thing that crashes MGEXEgui on start is probably fixed.
- Alternative combat controls. Movement direction keybinds are read from Morrowind instead of assuming they are WASD.
- Alt combat properly disengages when a ranged weapon is equipped.
- Auto crosshair turns off while in menu mode.
- Problems with rain/snow masking over the scenery should be gone.
- Restored code that cleans the alpha channel on screenshots, to fix saving PNGs properly.
- Water colour in non-distant interiors should look better.
- Water shader adjusted to blend horizon better when view distance is low.

I very much prefer MGE XE over standard MGE, however I can't really play with XE at the moment.
I get a framerate that is playable, but it doesn't overcome the magical 30 fps border (with SSAO disabled that is).
It would be very helpful if the number of shadows could be changed (either by number or render distance) or alternatively their quality. I'm sure this would give many more players access to your awesome utility.

- Fixed a problem with blank screenshots in 0.9.5.
