Hey sorry for bringing this up after such a long time. Had been out for a while.

No, I haven't let steam update. I'm still using v1.1.21 on account of everybodies rants ever since that new patches just tend to break things even more than actually fix anything. Tell me, how is the latest patch anyway?

And from that list that you posted, as far as I can remember (sorry not on the same computer), I think I had the following:
Landscape Texture Pack WIP
Vurts flora
Enhanced night sky
Detailed faces
No more blocky faces
Enhanced blood
Whiterun Retexture

And that's about it. Note that this was for the time that actually made the original post so all the versions for these tex packs are from that time.

I pretty much had the same problem with the landscape textures as well.

Did you manage to get an answer as to whether any of the 4 GB fixes would be beneficial for me or not? You should still consider the circumstances I put forward earlier in this thread.

Do you have any idea how shared VRAM actually works? Like can it be interchangeable between RAM and VRAM on the fly while the program is running or do you have to have it set so that the RAM is specifically being used for a certain task during the operation of the program?

Also if you think it would benefit me to use one of the 4 GB fixes which one should I go with?

Well the latest patch sucked. I think Steam may have withdrawn it but don't quote me on that. Thankfully due to Windows 7 I could revert back to the original exe. So everythings ok, just slightly buggy.

I would stay with the version you have until Beth get their act together. Regarding the 4GB fix it makes a real difference, apparently 2048x2048 textures causes issues with standard 2GB enabled Skyrim. I used the CFF explorer to modify the original exe following the guidlines from a user on Nexus I haven't had any crashes.

I'm sure the fix is in the top 100. If you can't find it just type 4GB in the filesearch.

What's the exact number of the latest patch? v1.2.21 or something right? Are there any stable user made fixes for the bugs in this version that will remain stable with most other mods? Any chance of using any of the 4 GB fixes with it?

I'd really like to play some mods but they are only for the versions above the one I am currently using.
