I tried this vamp upgrade mod once with a x2 spawns mod and there was this temporary glitch or something that happened where the vampires at the beginning of the fort I was at a froze in place at halfway down the stairs as if he could sense me but wasn't quite sure, facing my direction as I was sneaking closer. Something in the eyes might have been a little buggy as well without being overdone -- very creepy. Not sure if Thieves Arsenal AI changes may have contributed any to this behavior.
Anyway, I thought it would be great to have a mod that more or less did this on purpose:
1. Vampires stop in place, facing your direction when they get suspicious. They can continue again after a certain amount of time if they do not find anyone.
2. No undead types generate life detect auras. (This didn't happen to me but I always wanted this.)
3. Vampire eyes are a little creepy without being overdone -- you should still be able to notice over some distance in the darkness like a faint red or bluish glow.
4. Normal weapons can't damage vampires. (can't they already? I never noticed)
5. Vampires regenerate more quickly but take more damage from sunlight (the vamp upgrade mod I have more or less does this on its own)
I know lots of people like to play vampires but I prefer to hunt them and I think this would make them so much cooler. I could possibly do this on my own but I just started learning the CS and am currently focusing on other projects therein so if anyone thinks they can do this let me know. I'd love to make a quest using this vampire type.
