@ActusReus

I've gotten that Encounter pre-patch. Was he chased by someone? There are _lots_ of random encounters in the game. I haven't seen many at all.

For example, I've heard of a certain random encounter where you meet an Orc (which wishes/fate i won't spoil) that you can meet on the road - but during my 150 hours or so - I haven't seen him.

tl;dr Im 99% sure the encounter was ingame pre patch

@ActusReus

I think that's a random encounter because I've had of couple variants of it. If you stand still and wait a little "something" rather amusing will happen. Don't know if it's relevant to any big picture though.

Thanks both,

Now could someone please tell me HOW TO GET IT BACK TO PRE-PATCH???!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I have never said I hate steam before, but I will say it now!

I am using 2 esp's only!! and the rest is ini tweaks and textures, but my game is CTD'ing all the time!! This along with having to re-start the game as my save's wouldn't load and all the other problems that are being reported everywhere.. E.g. Dragons flying backwards and resistances being completely screwed up.

This patch is so bad, that if you quit the game to desktop, the process will continue running on the background.
You have to ctrl alt del and end it manually, EVERY DAMN TIME.

I was testing a mod just now and I had to open and exit Skyrim multiple times.
When I was done, my computer sounded like an airplane jet.
I opened Speedfan, and my i7 930 was at 100% running at 90c degrees... there was 12 TESV.exe processes running.

What the hell is Bethesda doing? How does something like this get past a patch 2 weeks in the making? What?

If they released the creation kit at launch, the modding community would fix everything within a week without breaking anything, AND add content.
It's 5 or 6 QA people at Bethesda against thousands upon thousands of experienced modders on the community, yet we have to wait like idiots and watch as they break the game again and again.

@ActusReus there is no way besides uninstalling Skyrim, one reason I hate Steam games is because of now reverting. But still, I've yet to go into any problems.

@overmaxxx actually it would take us awhile as well, every patch put out for BGS games from every modder together wouldn't fix them, there is just too many.

Sounds like it was a good idea for me to turn off Steam's auto update for Skyrim. I guess I'll wait until they make a user confirmed stable patch. I just don't feel like sacrificing the game playing pretty well at the moment (with the original LAA patch), for more bugs and things that stop LAA running / using an LAA version that may or may not work properly with my graphics card.

@ Zaldiir: I was like you, I crashed every other day, and then I started crashing everytime I tried to do one thing (ie walk the road next to the river from Whiterun to Riften). Since LAA I haven't crashed once.

I must have some kind of super computer or a super version of Skyrim, because this patch did nothing but make the game run better. No crashing, no lag, no "executable staying open", no backwards flying dragons (yet)... :P

<3 TES <3 Skyrim <3 BGS <3 My computer. ;D

First build of NMM that i have really enjoyed using. It would crash all the time, but it's just wonderful now.

bethesdas patch would be perfectly likeable, if the dragons flying backwards would shoot fire out of their ass.

Any one else have to download 1.9GB for the new patch(i would have stopped it but i was a sleep when it started and forgot about it earlier) I can't believe that its that big considering the change log is all of 10 things. Or is my steam being stupid for once in its life
