so I did the TESV previous version roll back that someone here was recommending to get the game to work... well the game loads... BUT now I cannot do fast travel... and my take all option doesnt work when i loot bodies... now im not sure if it is the rolled back version of the tesv that is causing this or if this is a bug off the patch... this is really annoying.
Did you rollback your interfaces bsa as well? Sounds like that may be the problem to me, but if you did roll it back too, that's really strange because rolling back both of those should fix all issues that 1.2 introduced.

First up if you have Windows 7 try this solution it worked for me.
Right click on TESV exe, select properties, in the box that opens, go to previous versions. Windows will attempt to find an earlier version. In the box in the centre rightclick the discovered exe. Copy it to your desktop, name it Working TESV, save it somewhere safe as a backup.
Do the same with Skyrim-Interface.bsa, rename to Original Working Interface or something memorable.
Copy the new non-working interface and exe to another location and rename them TESVScrewed and InterfaceScrewed. This is just a precaution.
Delete these new updated exe and interface from the Skyrim directory.
Copy the working old interface you just backed up and the old exe into the Skyrim folder and rename them to TESV and Skyrim-Interface.bsa.
After doing all this and if things are working correctly backup the whole Skyrim folder to some place safe, preferably an external drive. Make sure Steam remains in offline mode, however to deter them infecting you with the new rat filth Bethesda update and if Skyrim is your only Steam game then firewall block it.
It Worked Thanks
I can confirm after doing all this I can use the LAA patch, the map/fast travel and magical resistance works and I only have the bugs that were present in the earliest version.
Hope that makes sense to people.

The game itself seemed okay, but what's the point when you can't do anything but run around in the woods? Anyway...
The Skyrim - Interface.bsa and TESV.exe restores did the trick and kept me from having to lose about four hours' game play from last night.

After the patch downloaded and I launched the game the menu options do not even appear (Continue, New , Load etc.) Has anyone else had this issue?
yes i did had to delete vals crafting to get it to work, then had corrupted save file on the continue option and had to use other save then game crashed almost everytime it saved or i exited a building. not sure about to try again after a 4 hour break from attempting to play.
