Hello,

I've installed several mods, from the "Skyrim Nexus" site, mostly the top list mods. I have copied the files manually to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim-folder and the files are all in the Data-folder. That should be all right? (Im using Skyrim with Steam, so the nexus mod manager doesn't work with that ((Or does it? Doesnt seem like that)) )

When I log into the game and check the world for new textures and new cool changes in the game, but there is nothing.

Whats the problem?

Thanks

so your dir structure looks something like this skyrim/data/textures/landscape/dirt01.dds

Im having the same problem.

Magic card font not showing up

New textures not there

The only mod that has worked for me for sure, is KenMOD's Icon pack, for the items in the UI.

Thats it!

At first being a half wit that im I installed them all wrong but then I have rectified the problem I've merged the data files with the data file everything should be correct now.

Im thinking about reinstalling the game now...

I think I solved the problem when I realized that my main folder was via Steam directories. So I changed the path in NMM to the steam folder and the mods started to work. Though the Map in 3D still doesnt..

The 3D map requires you to edit a configuration file manually. NMM cannot install this type of mod.

I read the description on the skyrim nexus forum and I just dont get this line:

"Append lines from Skyrim.ini.txt (if there is no MapMenu section) or change existing values to match them".

Say what?
