Well, maybe i do, i find out,that in my Skyrim,ini there are no MapMenu sektion, so i Manuelt download the 3D file, and copy the tekst to my Skyrim .ini.

I read the description on the skyrim nexus forum and I just dont get this line:

"Append lines from Skyrim.ini.txt (if there is no MapMenu section) or change existing values to match them".

Say what?

It means find your Skyrimini.txt

This ini may have a section called [MapMenu]

If it does then just change the values to correspond to what the mod says.

If your ini doesn't have this section then just add it to the bottom of the ini.

For example

[MapMenu]
sMapCloudNIF=0
fMapWorldMaxHeight=130000.0000
fMapWorldMinHeight=130.0000
bWorldMapNoSkyDepthBlur=1
fWorldMapNearDepthBlurScale=0
fWorldMapDepthBlurScale=0
fWorldMapMaximumDepthBlur=0

I think I solved the problem when I realized that my main folder was via Steam directories. So I changed the path in NMM to the steam folder and the mods started to work. Though the Map in 3D still doesnt..

Im having the same problem w/ mods from Nexus. I DL two mods so far and non of them are showing up. I also don't get what NMM stands for and how did you get your mods to work?
If anyone else can answer pls feel free. Im not that good at modding!!!

NMM is the Nexus Mod Manager. Go to the main home page of the skyrim nexus and scroll down till you see a blue link for it. Should not be able to miss it. then you can download any mod directly from the manager

Remember ,you can maybe download every mod, but not all can open whit NMM!.
Thats a big problem, you never now what works ,and what not.

You need to explain exactly what you are doing in order to try and get your mods to run. We can help you from there.

Alternatively, there are numerous threads on these forums explaining how to get mods to work. You could try searching for them.
