People, asking will not speed the process up.
Do what I do: I am waiting for Fubruari the 1st, is it released sooner, then good. If not, well...

I've been reading through this tread for the last couple hours and there really is one major concern with the whole steam workshop that haven't seen anyone address, but could be missing it, and it has nothing at all to do with free or paid mod issues.

I deal with intellectual property in a working environment all day long (I'm a photographer and programmer), and really the following sentence is what scares the you know what out of me:

"You grant to Valve a worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, assignable right and license to (a) use, copy, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, modify, and create derivative works from Your Contribution in any media, (b) identify you as the source of the Contribution, and © sublicense these rights, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law."

Basically you are agreeing to give up any and controll over what you upload to valve as part of the workshop. If in the future you decide you don't want valve to host your mad then tough cookies because this says you have given valve a perpetual and uncanclable right to use your content royalty free. That also means if valve at a later date decidedly to charge for your mod they are not legal requaired to pay you anything for it if they decide not to (that is the royalty free part).
And on top of that this one sentence also gives valve the right to liscense / sell the rights to your work to anyone they so choose.

This more than any other reason is why you'll never see me going anywhere near the workshop with any mod I put together and will be using the nexus all the way.

We do not use the same computer, every computer is different with different software, I am aware that some people can run the game with no problems, I could run the game before patch 1.3.10 and never had any famous bug nor crash that people claimed have, after the latest patch it crashes my game, I did some tests to my system and itīs stable itīs not hardware problems, reinstalled the game tried with and without mods, tried every fixed for CTD there is on the internet and nothing... so how do you explain my game starting to crash right after the patch 1.3.10?I even remember saying to my self well Iīm not going to update just yet my game runs fine, but after some days I thought well what arm can it make the game worked fine for me since day one so... update and then CTD all the time -.- Every other games run well with no problems.

so how do you explain my game starting to crash right after the patch 1.3.10?

Your mileage may vary. Every computer is different, they will have different hardware. Each one has a different set of software. Mine actually ran better after the last patch. As it will be very rare for two computers - even with consecutive serial numbers to be exactly alike after being used by different people for a few weeks, no one can really predict if a particular build will be better or worse until they try it.

The multiple processor set up is problematic as Skyrim is not going to use all of them. And one of the marketing tricks is to spread the processor speed across all of the cores - so, a 2 core processor marketed as 3GHz may really be dual 1.5Ghz processors that can - maybe and with a little kick and on benchmark programs actually run at 3Ghz. Now try that with 6 cores and your super duper 8GHz processor turns out to be each individual core is running a not so speedy 1.3Ghz.

@ Siersan: that is what I said.
Corporations can rob us a black hole, legally.
They are entitled to ra... screw you, and then again a round.

Little people are meant to be trampled.
