im running 256/kb ADSL internet and have 3 computers connected to it, the main one with the router (mine) and 2 others that run on wireless. is there a way to allocate the bandwidth between them, laptop uses the lest so have that low and the other2 have about the same.
how do i do this?

NetLimiter is a piece of software that you can install on each machine to limit the maximum speed each computer can achieve. I know there are some routers out there that can throttle by LAN IP or MAC Address but I'm pretty sure they're quite expensive.
