Mesh appears black in-game

I'm trying to replace the mesh for pickaxes with one I made but it keeps on appearing as black in-game. Can someone please fix the file and re-upload it for me? I'll make sure to credit you in my mod when I add it. Thanks.

Either your texture is missing the Alpha Channel, or the mesh is missing UV Map Data. You can create the alpha from the base image in whatever program it is you're using to make the textures, though I'm not sure how to get the UV Map Data on the mesh when exporting it from 3d modelling programs. A more experienced modeller could most likely tell you though.

you have flipped face normals. Before you export reset xforms/clear transform matrix or other wise check and fix your normals

I got it to display the texture by flipping the face normals, but now it is very dark. I can make out some of the texture, but I can't get it to display right.

try enabling vertex color. some of the shaders want that or an _m map to disply normaly. altrnatively use a normal shader that is set up to use env maps
