I bought and downloaded Skyrim through steam but I want to add the high res texture mods and such...but all of the data folders are packed into .esm or bsa or some such thing...I cant actually access say the "Mountains" folder inside of textures to replace it with the highres pack...

Anyone know how to get around this and mod the game?

just drop the "textures" folder from the high resolution mod into your \data\ folder and apply archiveinvalidation through NMM.
