Great blog matey, sat through it while re-installing Skyrim because of over-doing it with regards to mods funny enough haha. Theres allot there you spoke about I didn't already know like the Steam workshop... well personally I don't like steam much and agree the idea of it is poor and more than likely just another way for them to make more money. I love the Nexus its quick and accessible to use and you should be proud! am sure theirs still time for Nexus yet!!

Sellable mods would be awesome for one reason...premium expansive fully voiced content mods made by small/independent developers. Something that is in very short supply without money involved.

Good blog thanks. As far as the CK issue Im not going to worry about it until there is something to worry about. Hopefully they are careful about how they implement the Steam feature so sites like Nexus are not affected.
However I have to say the only reason I buy anything from Bethsoft is due to the mods. I generally play the vanilla game for a few days to maybe a couple a weeks and get bored or very annoyed at some of the features/bugs. However thanks to modding communities I have found myself playing for years after the game is released. There are some truly epic mods in the various nexuses and I want to thank the all modders for thier work and Nexus for providing an outlet for thier creativity.

i'm quite glad i sat through your video. For some reason, i always imagined a team of people running the nexus's. And as for the traffic skyrimnexus generated at first, it was slow and laggy and often i couldn't use it. But you did a damn good job of resolving that issue and now it works very well. I had no idea the numbers were as high as you described. that kinda blew my mind.

i hope that good modders don't "sell-out" and decide they will only sell their mods instead of sharing with everyone. however, it would be nice to sell player-made resources to bethesda, or any gaming company for that matter, so they can improve upon it and implement it in their own stuff.

steam don't say it will sell mods, it says they are free, just email the steam site, this site is lying to you about that, because its afraid of loosing to steam, get you're facts straight. they will be preventing only bug filled mods and steam will not be banning people for not liking a mod or reporting bugs, nexus sites banns you for reporting problems, steam will be changing that. steam supports freedom of speech and religion. way better place for mods actually.
