ive had this game for awhile but one thing i seriously need to know! how do i get souls? i need stronger spells!

To capture a soul you must cast the spell soul trap on a target such as a monster and have a sould gem on you, certain monsters must have high quality of soul gems such as a golden saint must have a grand sould gem or higher (witch would only be azuras star) after you have casted the soul trap spell you must kill it while the spell is still active then a little message will apear "you have captured a soul".

you can get a soul trap spell in balamora mages guild the transportaion person has it.

May I encourage you to use the search button. You will find many threads stuffed with invaluable info on soul gems, soul trapping what the best constant effects are etc. etc. Rather than go for invividual spells, complete the Balmora mages guild quests and you get a nifty little weapon for trapping souls. Now I am putting this to bed. Would anyone with questions on soul trapping etc. please search before posting.
