Hi all,

I am new to the forums and looking for a little help. Ive tried searching but have been unable to find the answer im looking for. after applying the normal map to my model it appears shiny in game which I found that changing the alpha layer to black resolves the issue. It does lead to another which you can see from the video. When approaching the object I have a a dark shadow around the area i am looking at( almost like I have a flashlight). I have tried different grey scales in the alpha channel to minimize it but it is still there. I thought I would add a alpha layer to the diffuse texture but that reversed the effect and disabled the normal map. Is there something I am missing or is it just a matter of finding a sweet spot with the grey scale of the alpha chanel. Any help would be much appreciated.
