I froze loading into Solitude. I looked at my Memory and the game was only using 3gb. I checked the exe and it says I have the latest patch.

This patch somehow killed the fix for the enchanting-renaming-bug. But everything else seems perfect. Except one thing: THEY STILL DIDN´T FIX THE MISSING EFFECTS!!!!
Yeah, yeah there´s an inoffical patch and it works fine, but I think bethesda should do it theirselves! Let´s hope one of the regular updates next year will fix it...

@chrischan0323 yeah tried it on 32-bit windows 7 and 32-bit XP works great I only get a CTD after playing for several hours and that's to be expected of any game.

Does this provide support for higher than 4GB or only up to 4GB? (I have 16GB in my rig).

@thebundok
Up to 4GB since its still just a 32bit exe, they would need to release a 64bit exe to support more.

@Thebundok:
I doubt you will ever need more than 4GB for Skyrim... Not even with all the texture packs released and heavy mods will you ever need it. (Windows still utilizes more than 4GB for other processes, so with 16GB RAM, 4 of it is used for Skyrim (Which doesn't use more than 2GB in most cases), while the rest is used for everything else.)

I'm reading mixed responses to this patch everywhere!
Some say its Game and Save breaking, some report nothing out of the ordinary!
Why are Beth patches such a dubious thing?!

Just installed the patch, Im 32 bit windows and does nothing to me but after this patch my game crashes -.- before I used better textures mods with 1048 size and could play the game with no crashes at all, now I can´t... Bethesda should have in mind that not everyone is 64 bit and can´t use up to 4 gb.

@Myxale
I think its pretty clear from your post that it is in fact people that are dubious - not game patches.
You also gotta keep in mind that with all the mods floating around that arent made with the CK, there is no saying what mods are affected by the patch, making the game crash etc..
@scot
This mod is made as much for people on 32bit as on 64bit. I think you've misunderstood something about the patch and 4gb issue.
Regarding crashes youll have to single out the mod that is causing it. Because it has got to be a mod.
