Thank you again for the quick response and more importantly for clearing that up so I'm not wondering if it's doing something wrong.

I'm sure this question's been asked a gazillion times already, but I'm only asking to be pointed in the right direction.
As many before me has a problem with, some items are miscategorized, most of them mod items. I use HeadBombs better sorting for potions, and some of them go under Other, and invisibilty potions go under Illusion magic. I use Throwing weapons redux, which adds chuckable grenades, knives, axes etc. The grenades/trap usually go under Potions/poisons, even though you equip them as weapons.
Point being, as there are a lot of mods that seem to be improvements or add-ons for this mod, could someone point me to a mod that puts things right, regardless of other mods? Preferably, a mod that makes anything in the weapons menu sorted out under weapons, and so on.

This is a great mod and I enjoy it MUCH more than the default favorites list, but I do have a little gripe real fast. Can you possibly make it so that all or at least more of the items get put in the correct category? For example I created a couple sets of armor, and most of it will show up as "Apparel" but the helm will me in "Other". The other thing is that there seems to be little to no support for the DLCs. For example when you turn into a vampire lord, all of your powers are just under Other/Misc or whatever. Would be great to have everything in the right spot and support for the DLCs. Thanks so much!

The beauty of this mod is that everything is configurable and customizable. Only takes a little more effort on your part to have what you seek. Go to Steam -> steamapps -> common ->Skyrim -> Data -> Interface and locate the 'favoritesmenu.cfg'. This nifty little file controls all of what you see in your in-game favorites menu, from the size of the menu on screen to the column names to what is within those columns.
From here, you have two options. One is easier, especially if you're new to modding and probably more convenient in the short term. Many custom cfg files have been published on the Nexus already. Most include support for DLCs as well as various mod added items. Two popular examples are Categorized Favorites Menu Oni Edition and Custom Categorized Favorites Menu. Search the Nexus and I'm sure you'll find even more. Remember that you still need to install this mod first as these other mods are merely replacement cfg files for this mod.
While nice and functional, those menus are not going to suit everyone's needs or personal taste. This is why I go with the second option, which requires a little more time on your part at the start, but in the end you'll have a menu perfectly tailored to your unique needs and mods. Open your cfg file in Notepad. Categorized Favorites uses keywords to determine where to place things. The easiest way to categorize mod/ dlc items is to add common keywords to the appropriate category. For instance, if you use Cloaks of Skyrim or Winter is Coming, simply locate the Apparel keyword list and add ",cloak" to the end. That will move all cloaks out of the Other category into the Apparel category, provided that they have the word Cloak somewhere in the name. This same logic applies to custom armor, weapons, spells, etc. Simply locate the appropriate category and add the names to the keyword category. If you're adding custom spells or unique weapons, you're probably going to have to add each name individually, since they tend to be rather specific and don't fall into the common keyword line of reasoning. Adding items is really just a start. You can change and resize columns, add subcategories, etc.
I know this method sounds like a lot of work, but it's really not that bad. Once you're done, you have a custom favorites menu that supports all your mods. And if you add any other mods, you don't need to request a new version with support for this other mod you just picked up from a mod author. Simply spend two minutes adding the items to your already customized cfg and you're done.

I'm having an issue such that the Menu is HUGE, and I'm not sure how to edit the allignment properly in the config. If possible I'd like to bring it down as much as possible and to the left, but I don't see a way of doing so :I

Has anyone else had an issue where the Warchief Headdress from Immersive Armors isn't showing up in the favourites menu, even though it's been added manually to the file? I like to have my helmets on a hotkey so I can take them off at the press of a button indoors but this can't do it with this helmet (and I absolutely love it too). Such a shame.

I'm getting the same Error Code 5 for the same file. However, I don't have a Favorites Menu warning option to turn off in SkyUI, although I do have several other warnings that I can uncheck. I get the error only only once each time I start the game, and then doesn't occur again until I close/reopen Skyrim. I'm using the most uptodate versions of Skyrim, SkyUI and the Categorized Favorites Menu here. Any thoughts?
