Name: Alenee B'Elen
Sex: Female
Age: 24
Previous Profession: Imperial soldier
Some simple character background: Alenee was a mid-level Imperial officer when the Emperor fell. Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately), she was on patrol far from the Imperial capital when the invasion began, and she returned to find a lost battle and an enemy that wanted her dead. Along with a few of her surviving comrades, she escaped into the wilderness. Now beyond easy reach, she has begun to turn her attention to revenge for the friends she lost in the invasion.
Alenee B'Elen is just over 6 feet tall, and very light weight for her height. But despite her less than impressive strength, she moves with almost effortless grace. Now instead of her Imperial uniform, she wears loose dull gray clothes, made for freedom of movement and concealment over fashion. The dirt of weeks of exile is clear on her clothes and exposed skin, and her long brown hair spends most of its time tossed carelessly over her shoulders, the scraps of plants caught in it ignored. In another life she might have been considered pretty, but now all that remains is a determined warrior. One must wonder if the sense of calm confidence that surrounds her is due to real skill, or if she just doesn't care about anything anymore...
Weapon of choice: longbow/pike. Alenee carries a bow she created herself, her personal weapon that has seen years of use. This weapon, and the backup pike she carries on her back, is the only thing left of eight years of Imperial service. It is the one ally she can still trust in this world.
Peregrine, you are way too predictable.
Anyway I'm interested, but if you read the other RP threads you'll know I'll be incognito until the 20th of March (and after that I'll likely want to kill myself with the amount of work I won't be doing over spring break which I'll pretend to catch up but really not).
Anyways since it seems to me that this horde of monkeyf*****s only works at night would it be possible to have a vampire character whose lair was 'disturbed' by the hordes while he was off feeding on local livestock? And I have an idea to get around the whole not being able to go out in day dilemma if you'd allow for it.

Brief History:
Before being tortured and turned to a creature of the night Auranioutczu (Outczu for short) was a traveling scholar who enjoyed researching local traditions based in the arcane arts. Naturally attuned to various energy fields of magika, he enrolled in the School of Arcana to further his studies, particularly in the field of Alteration of which he has little knowledge.
Charged with the task of recovering a stolen set of highly prized bonemold armor said to be able to shield its wearer from the elements Outczu set off on a journey that would not yield a return to the life he so enjoyed. After tracking a supposed lead deep into the marshes he stumbled upon an outpost amidst an ambush by a group of vampires.
Though his efforts were valiant, after slaying several of the attackers he was maimed and dragged to their local lair and taken into darkness. However, Outczu's will overcame his desire to quench his thirst on the blood of mortals and suspected the essence of a fellow vampire would satisfy his appetite more thoroughly.
Under the cover of day, while the lair slept he severed the soul of the Vampire Ancient into Outczu's being, infusing within him a power unlike anything known in all legends. Upon seizing his master's soul within himself Outczu flayed the limp corpse and through his knowledge of enchanting forged a set of armor out of Vampire Ancient's skin and bones. This grants him the ability to travel in daylight, but only for limited amounts of time before he must imbue the armor with a soul of a mortal being.
As his territory becomes overrun with the pathetic human insurgence he, night after night, combats the hordes that rape the countryside and spills their blood across the land as a warning to those who might temp fate. His will is bent on stopping the invasion, though his reasons for doing so are not clear, even to him. A struggle in him between his soul and that of Vampire Ancient's is prominent; his existence is bent on overcoming this plight and restoring his natural state.
