ok, i know that i'm really really lazy. but i've got this game in morrowind where i'm rping a hlaalu unarmored acrobat chick. i'm at lvl 23 and i simply dont wanna take the time to go to mournhold and get rid of them (this isnt my main game. i take no pride in it. its just for fun. dont pregnant-dog at me.). i know that there's stuff you can enter into the consol to enable or disable variables, so anyone know what it is? plus, is there some sort of list of all variable and/or quests in the construction set?
using consol to disable quests and variables

To see the list of journal entries, open your CS and:
1) Click any NPC and then click Dialogue OR Click the talk bubble at the top of the screen.
2) Click the file tab that says Journal
3) Select the quest you are seeking to complete
4) Write down or remember the code for the journal entry, and its index
5)In Morrowind, open the console and type:
To disable the Dark Brotherhood attacks in Vvardenfell, look for the journal entries for the Dark Brotherhood Attacks and enter the index that says that you have killed Dandras Vules, the DB leader.
:!: Keep in mind, all of the above is cheating!:!:

Journal JOURNAL NAME HERE [INDEX # HERE]and then enter it. You will get the entry in your journal of whatever index you chose.

I believe they will stop attacking you if you talk to the guy in the adamantium armour in Ebonheart. You don't have to go to Mournhold at all.

malchik is correct there, it does stop happening, although i have had 2 weird occasions.
with 2 characters
1 talked to him, went to mounhold, went back to ebonheart, then to soltheim, got attacked in his sleep
the other on did the exact same thing, but didnt get attacked when he slept at solthseim...probably didnt do something correctly.

The attacks stop once you talk to a High Ordinator or Royal Guard about the Dark Brotherhood.
The console command to have the game record you as doing that?
Journal TR_DBAttack 100

Yes you could beat them on any level, thats why you could change the difficult on the option menu

The assassins are leveled- different strengths, health levels, attributes. Most of all though, they have different weapons. The highest, Punishers, will have Daedric Tantos. The lowest will have silver daggers or the enchanted chitin Daggers of Judgement.
