@ratrace - She has done an album, it is "All of the Above" was released in 2006 and is available on iTunes, one of the songs from it is named "Fairytale" which a youtube user made a video for and posted on YouTube, she took the time to thank that person for their work in creating the video and posting it as well as the glowing praise that was included with the description.
I agree with pretty much all of the posts here in that both songs are very well done, and I would like to thank Lingwei for posting this as otherwise I might never have heard of this talented artist.

@redwulfen
Thanks for the hint! Just downloaded the album via Amazon. It's professionally done, and from what I already heard, I like it. Her voice is exactly the same on the album. Musically it is more independent singer / songwriter style. Perhaps a bit like Alanis Morissette, just to name an example.
But I must admit, I am more into dark / sad / mystic music. Her Skyrim songs have much of that. Some kind of romantic darkness.
But you guys should check out her album anyway. It's worth it!

I really disliked the in-game female bards. Especially when they "sing" The Dragonborn Comes. If I could drop the reverb and have it with one voice, I'd totally mod her versions into the game.
