You know, that you have to disable/re-enable archive invalidation in FOMM for it to create the Fallout - AI!.bsa file?

Hopefully I can get some help from my fellow fallout new vegas modding community. my problem is that several mods I use that have to do with anything from a new race to certain things like a mobile vault, etc., have been having problems with using their actual textures. They are still in the same forms but the textures/meshes are something else, or aren't there at all. I am right now re-downloading my FNV along with my FOMM, because I thought it could be somethings about maybe misplaced textures/meshes or that my FOMM's ActivationInvalidation wasn't working properly. Along with the ActivationInvalidation thing, I would like to ask: Is it normal for the program(AI) to crash my FNV when on?

I'm having this same problem. Specifically with the BNB mod and textures. It was all working well until I upgraded my video card. Now I get distorted body areas and the textures are all miss-colored. I have removed and re-installed all the mods and I still have the issue.

I have never heard of archive invalidation causing a crash...

I know, I think part of it was that it wasn't "adding in" the new textures that are in the mods

Just open it with Winrar/7-Zip and copy all files and folders to your data directory (you don't have to copy the fomod folder, as it contains only scripts needed for FOMM to activate the mod).

You can use a manual install, if the mod comes packed in a fomod archive.

What I meant by that was that fact that activation invalidation wasn't showing the files in game, probably meaning that the mod textures/meshes would not show up correctly in the area affiliated with mod.
Sorry if i didn't make that clear.

Maybe you could tell, what mod you got trouble with, and add a corresponding screenshot.
Btw., are you using the 4GB enabler?

Not sure if I have the right thread here, but my issue is that once I load and start to play NV that all of the textures go wild. They change color and patterns and do weird things. I download them with the Nexus Mod Manager as well. I do not understand why they are doing this.

I have the same problem. Have you figured anything out?
