How do you install dance animation?

I have done the following things with the dance files but none of them work.

 

NOTE: All of the dance files are .hkx filetype

 

1) I have placed all the .hkx files into the Skyrim directory itself.

 

2) I have placed the .hkx file into the folder Skyrim/Data/meshes/actors/animation/male/LMFAO_Shuffle.hkx

 

Neither of these worked. Is there something in the command console that I have to enable while playing the game?

The file goes in the folder mentioned in your second option. However, without a plugin that tells the game when to use that animation, it won't get used unless you make it a replacement. To make it a replacement simply rename it to the exact name of whatever animation you'd like to replace.

Oh so i should rename it mt_idle.hkx or something? I think that will make the character dance instead of the normal idle waiting animation.
