Hello there people.

I'll just get straight to the point:

How do I install Mods for the Steam version of Skyrim? Do I simply extract the neseseary flies in to the Skyrim data folder? Or do I have to use some form of Mod managing program? :psyduck:

this is the Mod i want to use: http://skyrimnexus.c...le.php?id=2666#

For any help you can provide, no matter how big or small. Thanks.

Yes you just mod it by adding the files to your data folder etc, like most mod descriptions say or the readme files,

There is a mod manager program though. The nexus Mod manager, but it is still in beta although it seems to work fine for most people found here.

Yes.

Installation instructions should be included in any mod's readme but you just covered about 90% of what most mods are about.

Make sure your file structure is as follows: \Skyrim\Data\textures\ or \Skyrim\Data\meshes\ and not: \Skyrim\Data\blahblahmod\textures\ or \Skyrim\Data\Data\textures\.
