bah, I like em both, but I voted XBOX, its because of the controlers! Its SOOO much easier to play on the XBOX! As for the MODs, aparentley you can get some sort of MOD chip to enable MODs on the XBOX, as I said before, it sounds way to unpheasable, but I do believe it, I just don't understand how it's done... meh... Go XBOX!

Mods: The MOD chip
Updates: The MOD chip
Expansions: What do you call Game of the Year edition?
Construction Set: Good point.
Have as many saved games as you want: You don't call 50000+ blcoks as much as you want? my friends used 100000 and it still says 50000+ left!
Your argument is invalid, goodnight.

Ok, so lets assume that you can hack the xbox and get the exact same game. Now its a choice between poor graphics and terrible controls, or good graphics, good controls, and easy editing.
Concession accepted. Xbox is clearly inferior.

Are you kidding me?! In saying poor graphics your insulting Morrowind all together! They're EXCATLEY the same in the graphics section! I couldnt be alone in this battle! Sure a computer would rock an XBOX anyday of the week! But not in this perticular game! Theyre excatley the same! What are you people thinking?!Ok, so lets assume that you can hack the xbox and get the exact same game. That an xbox/tv combination can't match a good computer for graphics quality. You can't get the resolution high enough.

Okay - PC by far.
On my current PC (Pentium III 1GHz, 256meg ram, nVidia Geforce II card). Morrowind sings as long as I don't add some of the big mods that seem to slow down server-level PCs. Can't wait to see what it does on my new one when it gets here (3.2Ghz PIV HT tech w/800MHz front side bus, 2gb ram @ 400mhz, 250 gb HD, ATI radeon 9800XT video card).
(I'm getting it because my wife has become hooked on Morrowind, and I need to use my computer sometimes, too - she'll get my old one, and I'll get the new one.)
Any tool is good for what it is truly meant for - The x-box can do some things that a PC can never dream of, but, there are limits as to what the x-box and system like it can do. Think of it - there is a video type card in the x-box, and the whole system can be sold for a couple of hundred bucks. The video cards that go into PCs cost at times three times what you can get an x-box for. Who do you think will have the sharper graphics?
I've checked with my contact and at this point he is not aware of anything LEGAL out there to allow hacking/downloading the mods into an xbox. He is a director at Microsoft in the x-box division, though he will admit there are some things in the area he doen't know. Please let me know if there are any legal ways to do it, and I'll pass these on. Also, he said that even though, as far as he knows there isn't, there may be in the future as new techs are incorporated into the x-box (no, I do not know what those are/will be....)

I play Morrowind with these specs:
384 MB RAM PC 133
987 mHz
RIVA TNT2 <_<
a VERY slow cd-ROM (I don't know the speed, can't find it anywhere!)
It's a pentium 3 desktop computer...if you've seen/used one of those..you will SURELY get the point..
lags a lot! But it is indeed playable! But not as fun as running at FULL graphic without ANY lag!
LOL! Not many of those!

^_^ i would have to say PC!!
like some others already said:
you get mods
bug fixes
a console (which can be VERY usefull!!
)
delete the game but still keep savegames
to be honest i haven't played the game on xbox so i don't know what it's like, but still i prefer PC

I think I have only seen this PC vs Xbox thing posted, oh, let's say, about 200 times. And every single thread on the topic goes the same way:
1. PC vs Xbox?
2. PC you dummy because it has tons of advantages
3. Here's my PC spec
4. My PC is better than your PC
5. Etc.
I used to play Morrowind on the PC but now I play on Xbox. The PC is better in every way EXCEPT that the Xbox is easier to use while on a treadmill or excercise bike. (My wife can't complain about me playing computer games if I am working out at the same time.) And my 4-month old really prefers the Xbox controller.
