argg i just got bloodmoon and i started it and i got up to making the priest confes.he wont i searched his room and picked all the locks but that closet which needs a special key

Q.is the closet the answer to my problems? if so where is the key?

no i think its a desk that has the beer in it

The damning evidence is in the desk. Open it and you will get a journal update, along with a healthy supply of alchohol and drugs.

You can leave the closet alone, as long as you got al the booze from his room and looked into his desk (than i mean unlocked it and looked into it), you're fine!
After you've done that, return to the priest and tel him that you've serched his room (on't really know waht you gotta say, but it's somwhere in the right part of the text dialog).

You can gice the guards in the fort some mead and they will tell you more information. And if you chose to not tell Carnius then you will get the key to the closet.
