So he wasn't really powerful enough for lvl 26, righto.

I'll add that I'm using Oblivion XP, which would affect what stats I'm getting per level, plus I'm using Supreme Magicka. Actually, I think one of the Supreme Magicka spells I used during the fight basically made me immune to damage at the cost of mere stunted magicka.

You cannot get two pieces of meat from the house (without cheating). Sounds like you never got around to doing anything with the meat and now you're stuck with it.

Strange, because I did visit Falanu Hlaalu the alchemist about the suspicious meat.
I haven't tried the console command yet. I managed to get rid of the meat through the console.

Oh. My bad. Seems the script line to remove the meat from the player inventory has run away and is now missing. Good thing you came back with more info, else I wouldn't have checked, so thanks I'll fix that!

OK, I am desesperate with the Case of the Missing Body, and since I have recently installed a ton of mods at once (including Better Cities) I don't know if I am missing something or crashed into a bug (there should be no problems: the reason I downloaded so many mods at once is because I got Better Cities and then followed the links you gave somewhere to all compatible mods, and picked the ones than looked interesting):

I went into the Baron's house, found the blood, and got a quest update; found the note, and got a quest update.

Then, I discovered the secret passage, went into the sewers, and picked the note. And that's it. No more updates, I cannot speak with Lord watshisname, and I have searched the entire sewers (except the brotherhood hideout) for a possible entrance to the church or something, and I stil are struck. What do I have to do???'

The getstage command tells me I am in stage 95, and while I could advance it manually, obviously I'd prefer to complete the quest as it should be completed.

Well you went already too far when you found the note in the sewers. So just after you enter the sewers from the house, you should investigate down there. (if it doesn't update for some reasons, but it should, you can use the console command to go to stage 100). Do tell us if it updates or not. We might need to upload an update if it doesn't.

I wnet down the pit, and looted the bodies there: The erudite (with clothes, a feather, and a copy of Barenziath, I think), the prisioner (some armor? i dont' remember and the skeletons (bone dust)

@ Faerakhasa: Are you using a version more recent than v5.1.2? If not, then you're still using the version where that part of the quest doesn't work once you've reached stage 95. Upgrade to the latest version and try that part again. If you are using v5.1.3 or later, then I'll have to glare at those scripts yet again.

I'm having trouble finding Gorse in the Leyawiin ranger's guild for the GHC quest where you have to visit the three ranger's guilds. Any clues would be appreciated because i've wasted 3 full days in Leyawiin looking for him. The other two shouldn't be a problem because I've met them on several occasions.
Anyway, is there some particular time his more likely to show up?
Does he go to the tavern? If so, which one, and when?
What race is he?

@ Mortrix927: Gorse is in the Rangers Guild-house in Leyawiin, he never leaves the guild-house.

@Vorians- Is there some kind of secret room? Is he using an invisibility spell? Because I've searched every room in the house, at several different times of day, and no Gorse anywhere.

@ Mortrix927: From 10pm to 6am he sleeps in the Sleeping Quarters in the guild-house. From 2pm to 5pm he eats in the main cell of the guild-house. The rest of the time he wanders in the main cell of the guild-house, typically on the stairs or on the middle balcony between the ground floor and the top floor. If he's not there, then you've killed him at some point in the past and so cannot complete the delivery.
