Don't let those people fool you; their entire reason for acquiring Skyrim is so that they can have the game without spending a cent on it. The CK's release will not make any difference to their purchasing decisions.I know a lot of people who play Skyrim, but ThePirateBay edition if you know what I mean,
And that just because they haven't deliver the CK yet.

About Bioware, they did it right in NWN and NWN2 (the start of decline)... but definitely got downhill after being incorporated to EA... if you want a target I gave you one. All hate for Ulf... I mean EA.
Beth: Someone in the marketing (any/both sides) got the brilliant idea that incorporating Steam workshop into the CK was the best thing in the world (probably leading the devs near despair)... now they got an arrow... ah you know.

I just hope they fix the CTDs. The game has become unplayable at this point....

Fingers crossed it's released tomorrow. If not, it's not the end of the world. In the meantime there's plenty of great mods for you guys to try out but moaning about the Creation Kit's delayed release isn't going to help. It's postponed for a reason, Would you rather have a bug-filled abomination or a thoroughly tweaked and fixed tool to work with?
That's not the point, it's not so much mods per se as bugfixes that we want it for, because past experience tells us that Bethesda won't do a thorough job on that score.

@ 92demonking
does your vanilla version ctd? ive never had a ctd since i started playing. ive recently added a bunch of the top mods and still no ctd's. are there certain combos of hardware that are vulnerable? i'll grant you that i do not play for hours on end or everyday for that matter. i'd say about 2 hours or so every few days. im just curious.

I love Steam, don't get me wrong, Valve has never disappointed me with a game that they've released, but I think Bethesda should never have incorporated Skyrim with Steam. The Steam Workshop is just another Nexus, and I won't be using it. There are plenty of other reasons, but most of them, along with this one, have already been restated a hundred times over. Hopefully with the next few months to come, everything will be working just fine.........nah.

I hear what you're saying, Bethesda are notorious for having such bug-filled games and tools but still, I believe the delayed release and even the release of a beta to selected modders is their way of correcting previous wrong-doings of releasing it ASAP and having it completely swarmed with bugs and unstable as hell, just a matter of personal opinion I suppose. I'm still rather annoyed at the time it's taking them to release it but it will really be worth the wait, I'm sure of it.

Enjoying the opportunity skse is outdated for the new new new bet patch I played without it (after disabling the mods which need it too) without any CTD or the jerking movements I was experimenting (thought could be the shadows which are at high resolution since the first 1.4 and yet with good performance but now even this seems corrected).
Lets hope this time the game becomes stable enough so they can fixate on the task of correcting the remaining quests issues for the 1.5 patch (if UOP team don't get there first).
Actually I think the game is behaving so well that the patch official release can go out anytime now.

Sorry, I have a question (sorry if it's silly) I'm still confused with the whole steam workshop concept. Does that mean I can only get the mods from there and not on nexus?
