Yes, I would totally love that! OOO or MMM Skyrim style. I remember fighting hordes of daedra in the towers of oblivion what a rush. Let's all hope Saiden Storm makes a mountable dragon mod also.. I hope someone makes a mod so the 5 points you get at a level up...stack up. I played for awhile tonight had 1 freeze up had to do a reset...now parts of the ground are black, I guess a mesh is missing? I had a wierd quest where I was forced to kill someone in a mine. There was no other choice. More hotkeys would be a blessing....I mean all the different items you use and only 8 hot keys pheww....not enough. But, anyway I can't wait for the CK to come out because it will be the modders fixing the problems bethesda can't. GOOOO MOOOODDDDEEEERRRSSS
@woundedbeast I only connect my computer to the net long enough to update then I pull the plug. If you keep you nice computer online all the time ..you have no idea whats happening to your comp.I only connect when I have to update...just being 100 percent safer.

Whe exclude the workshop before sseing the EULA? The one used to fear monger are the ones explicit for VALVe's games. I would upload to both sites if possible. Not every Skyrim gamer is computer savvy enough to use the Nexus.

We certainly do exclude it.
And if you aren't computer savvy enough to use the Nexus where there are a lot of competent people ready and willing to help, then really, should you be even considering installing any mods at all? Whatever makes you think that the Steam Workshop install will make it easier to do anything but trash your game? When did downloading and installing a mod without having a look at the files and considering load order ever become a good idea?

I wouldn't like to see a paid site for modding. In fact, I have money and I'm not greedy to pay for something I like... But it would kill a non-commercial vein of TES modding, which, I think, is one of the important aspects of the community.
I agree with the people who are going to use both Nexus and Workshop.

Does this fix Winhelm house murder mess AFTER you cause this bug? Or only prevent this bug from happening. Coz I already had this bug and I still don't have a cleaning option when asking Windhelm steward about decorations

My best friend isn’t interested in mods, he has never used one. I have tried to get him to use them but he can’t be bothered to take the time learn how to mod, and follow all the steps. I can see where he is coming from; he just doesn’t have the time to figure it all out.
Anyway I see SW being a good way to get him started, once he hocked on one or more mods, I am sure he will start to take the time to mod his game properly with help of the nexus.
(And for those of you who think he is a retard if he can’t mod, he has an IQ of 145 [legally a genius] and his work profession that takes all of his time is a Millwright – Electrical and Mechanical Engineer).

Your friend falls into the category of people who ARE savvy enough to use Nexus. I think it would be a shame to let him blight his game with this weird Steam Workshop thing and the out of control updating process that Steam gives you. Nexus has NMM to install a few very worthwhile but simple replacers to get him started, SkyUI is NMM installable for example and that is a must have!

the nexus made good use of the modding tools provided by beth in the past.
if modders can avoid using the steam forge to make them with/without the CK, then i see no problem.

I've been using the Nexus sites since FO3 and love it but I can say I am one of the few who really dislikes the new Nexus UI so I am excited to see how SteamWorkshop plays out. I'll always use the Nexus but change can be good just as well as bad.
